Regina Mejia, RN

Regina Mejia transferred to Harrington Breast Center last year at this time, she had previously worked with us as a registration staff member but never as a nurse. She jumped in, took the reins, and kept us moving as if she had always been there. She took over our BCCS Medicaid program and has assisted in getting more ladies qualified than ever before which frees up more of the Harrington Cancer and Health foundation funds for other ladies needing services. She is Spanish-speaking and helps to translate for the doctors, bringing a level of care to that population that we have not had previously, due to the language barrier. Her kindness and compassion for our patients and staff is inspiring. Regina is a former missionary that truly lives out our BSA mission of providing quality healthcare in Christian love service and dignity.
