This morning I was touched by the kindness of Regina. Last night, I was so overwhelmed with the stress of seeing my surgeon that I didn't sleep much. Regina came into my room, held my hand, and talked to me. In the morning when my husband came, I realized that I didn't have shoes to wear outside. She came in and wiped away my tears. She left and came back to my room a few minutes later with a pair of Nike tennis shoes. She literally gave me the shoes off her feet. This made me smile. How lucky was I to have a kind nurse with size 6.5 feet!
