My husband was a patient in the ICU with Pulmonary Emboli. He was on oxygen and blood thinners. His hemoglobin began to drop significantly. All I knew is that he was going from bad to worse right before my eyes. I was scared and thought I may be losing my husband. The care Remya James, RN, administered was extraordinary. Her care and words were exactly what I needed. She gave me back hope. I felt a large weight lifted. I will never forget Remya's words and the comfort she gave me. She was truly an answer to my prayer. Even though I could only see her eyes due to the mask she wore, she was beautiful to me, as I could see her heart. PS: My husband has recovered from all he went through.
