We recently had an infant loss. She always steps up to help the family. She makes sure to connect to the family and reaches out to help with the bereavement. With this family, she came in and made the infant memory box. She did the baby foot molds. Removed the baby dress and redressed the baby so mom could have the little gown to take home. She had taken beautiful pictures with the gown and placed this all in the memory box. You can feel Rene's love and concern. She frequently comes in on her time off to nurture patients and create a personal touch for our patients. Rene is one of our greatest assets to the Labor and Delivery unit. She has a warm heart and a personal touch.
