Retha Gunter, RN

Retha Gunter RN, CCRN, is a 40+ year experienced critical care nurse who is currently serving as weekend Supervisors for Singing River’s both Jackson County campuses. She is universally admired and loved for her kind disposition, incredible clinical skills, and unfailing patience. Retha always finds a way to make things happen in the worse of circumstances, such as the dark days of the COVID pandemic. “Retha is the epitome of what a DAISY Award Nurse should be. She checks off every skill or personality anyone would want in a healthcare provider, and it is an honor to have her on our team”.
