When I got here, I didn’t know I was alive. Thank you for helping me out. But as I am getting stronger with the help of many, I have the most amazing nurse ever, and his name is Rex. He has done wonderful things to help me improve. A+. Thank you.

I nominated Rex for the DAISY Award for his kindness, caring, and giving way. My mom was in the hospital for 2 weeks, and he was our nurse a few times. Every time, he was so helpful and considerate to my 94-year-old mom. He made her feel at ease and always made sure she had everything she needed to make her stay comfortable. Most importantly, even when Rex was not my mom’s nurse, and she needed something, he was willing to help. That shows character. Mt. Sinai needs more nurses like him. He helps those people because he wants to, because he has passion.
