Rhodor Maghirang saw and recognized that behind my laughter and joking manner, I was indeed scared and worried. Not just about the risks of surgery, but with life in general.
Through his kindness and experience with life, I opened up to him about my long and painful life, my fears, and my concerns for mankind. Through his ability for passion and his love of others, we made a brief but personal bond. He assured me that everything would be all right, not only through this journey but also through future journeys. He allowed me to see that compassion is still alive, that care is truly his only desire.
