Rhonda is the soul of our department
"Everything to Everybody" is Rhonda Lock's office motto. She has held multiple director positions to include both full-time and interim assignments. She always leads by example and encourages our team to be the best department we can be.
As our leader, Rhonda supports us as individual team members where we all utilize our different strengths to accomplish any task at hand. She holds us accountable and always challenges us to continue to develop as professionals. In an ethical dilemma, she is our go-to as we all trust and value her as a wise and solid leader. We know she will never steer us wrong.
Rhonda is passionate about any role she is given. She never asks us to do anything that she would not do and we always strive to make her proud. She motivates us in every way to always go above and beyond for each and every patient we encounter. Whether it be contributing to our clothes closet, or running to Goodwill to get a walking stick for a blind man, she is always supportive and her vision for this LifePoint is always prevalent in everything that she does.
Rhonda is an amazing Nurse, leader, and patient advocate. As our director, she plays an integral role in ensuring the best outcome for our patients from the time they arrive through discharge. She conducts transitions of care meetings and always creates a positive, inviting forum where everyone can speak openly about any concerns regarding referrals, placement issues, COVID updates, pre-authorizations, etc. These meetings are always informative and help to foster healthy relationships between our organization and the community.
Rhonda is the soul of our department. The things that we witness her do behind the scenes never cease to amaze us and we know we are learning from the best. She makes us feel confident and proud to serve Saline Health Systems. She keeps us up to date on hospital news such as budget requirements and overstaffing due to low census. She remains transparent and explains that she wants us to be informed. She trusts us to do the right thing even when no one is looking. She promotes team building so that we all feel we have each other's backs.
Oftentimes our team can be found conquering Pinnacle Mountain or getting a few steps in around the hospital. She encourages us to not only be good employees but good humans. With Rhonda as a Nurse Leader, there is never a patient or colleague left behind.
