Richard Love, RN
My dad was in the MICU for about 2 months fighting for his life from COVID-19. It was a very difficult time for the entire family, we are a family of 9, 7 kids, and mom and dad. Never did we think that what was happening out in the world would ever happen to one of us. But through all the ups and down we were able to have hope because of our faith and because of the amazing nurses and staff! A nurse who stood out was Richard Love. He was always so full of life and made sure to make us laugh and smile during such a hard time. He was both professional and respected all of our heavy emotions but never failed to lift our spirits. His smile brightens every room, and his laugh was contagious. He was the light in the darkness and I’m grateful that he was by my dad’s side. Making the long journey more bearable and being our greatest advocate. Someone I would want by my bedside, and that says a lot!
