There is not a specific story or situation I'd like to comment on; but rather the way Robert Johnson handled everything regarding my husband's care. He was attentive, calm, friendly, knowledgeable, and compassionate and treated us like I would imagine he'd treat his own family. What I found most wonderful about Robert was that he told us what was going on. He spoke to us in lay terms. So many times, when at the hospital, the patient and family feel they are left in the dark about testing, schedules and time frames. But this never happened with him.
If we had a question and Robert didn't know the answer, he would get it and come back and tell us. He treated my husband the way I think he would want to be treated as a patient. That is a rare thing. We kept looking at each other as though we couldn't believe how great he was. I have had a lot of exposure to nurses and hospitals of late, and he is extraordinary. He made this extremely stressful situation so much easier to deal with. I knew if I found him, I was in good hands.
