Robert and another nurse were taking care of the last surgery patient of the day. The family was very nervous and anxious about being able to pay for their family's post-op medication. Robert went to them and offered to pay for their prescriptions. The family stated, "we cannot take your money". Robert insisted and stated, "I will sleep better tonight if I know my patient got their medicine tonight and was well taken care of". Robert will also do monetary gestures for so many employees in the hospital, I could not list them all. From buying special shoes for someone, lending money in a time of need, and many many breakfast and lunches for so many people. He shows compassion for everyone.
