May 2023 Honoree
Robin L Anderson, BSN, RN
When I was at Parkview Huntington Hospital receiving my usual liquid infusion in MIU, Robin noticed I was struggling with my breathing, and she immediately listened to my lungs. She discovered an irregularity and wheeled me to the emergency room. The ER doctor determined that I had fluid buildup in the sac around my right lung. After the thoracentesis procedure was completed, I was sent by ambulance to Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne for additional observation and possible additional procedures.
Robin was quick to decide that I needed medical attention and expressed her concerns to me and my husband. She was very caring and treated me as if I was a family member. Robin was very concerned for my well-being.
Robin always greets me with a smile and makes me feel I am her only patient. She quickly discovers an answer to any questions we might have. I appreciate her abilities and caring attitude.
