Robyn Mahon, BSN, RN

Robyn cared for my mother-in-law while she was in intensive care and comfort care. We were blessed to meet Robyn when we arrived at the hospital. Robyn is a special person. While the daily nursing routine can cause the best of us to succumb to compliancy, Robyn stands apart, she takes her job seriously and obviously loves what she does. From the moment we met her, she guided us through the stages my mother-in-law was experiencing. She helped us to understand what was happening to her. Robyn listened to us, answered our questions, learned about our family, and kept us informed. Robyn was understanding, patient and kind. She gave us our privacy but checked in frequently to make sure we were OK and if we had any questions. She even ordered us snacks to keep up our spirits. Robyn was the guiding light that we needed to help us stay focused and strong. Robyn’s healing touch is something that is not learned, it is a part of her. By sharing that part of herself she helped not only my mother-in-law but our entire family.
