Ruby Langry, RN

Ruby was attending the Older American's Month health fair representing cardiovascular health when she was asked to go see a gentleman for some questions, he had regarding a heart attack. It turns out that he was displaying many signs of an active heart attack. She prompted someone to call 911, stayed with the patient, took his vitals and what history she could, and provided emotional support. Her quick thinking and compassion led to him being transported to the hospital. He was very thankful as he was leaving on the EMS's gurney, and you could tell her presence and compassion really made a difference to him. Way to go Ruby!
