She advocates for all patients, all staff, and anyone who needs it, with the same determination she had back when we were in school.
Sabine stepped into the Nurse Specialist role. She handled her transition with grace and modesty. She successfully navigated supporting multiple units and resourcing very “spirited” staff, all while learning the responsibilities of the role. Sabine is a force to be reckoned with. She advocates for all patients, all staff, and anyone who needs it, with the same determination she had back when we were in school. Sabine gets the job done!
Working alongside Sabine as a fellow nurse specialist was an honor and a privilege. She welcomed me with open arms, was supportive in every single way possible and went out of her way on a daily basis to make sure I was successful in my new role. Her knowledge base makes her a wonderful partner to work on policies with, and collaborate on inter-unit projects, and also helped me learn and grow.
Sabine is patient, kind, and always knows how to put a smile on your face. It was bittersweet when she transitioned into the Nurse Manager Role. As a Nurse Manager, Sabine is in high demand which is easily known by the line of people that regularly congregate outside of her office daily. She is a resource and a friend to all units and all disciplines. Sabine sits on every committee possible, wears so many different hats, and is here way past the end of her shift.
