Samantha goes above and beyond, not only for her patients but for her staff here on the unit. She is always willing to help anyone with anything they need, from getting tricky IVs to changing patients when the CNAs are busy. She is always there to help, no questions asked. Some other examples of where she has gone above and beyond is when she attends charge nurse meetings even though she has a full patient load. When they call a rapid response, she attends to the patient and assists with transfers to a higher level of care. She is always available to hear out any patient concerns and initiate patient recovery to help fix any problems. Although there is no such thing as perfect, she gets really close to being a perfect nurse with her knowledge, performance, and compassion. I am thankful for everything she has taught me throughout my two years working alongside her. Thank you
