I went to the ER for a heart problem and found out I had COVID. I was so hurt, I have many illnesses, and now this. I knew no one would want to be around me and I would be all alone. Then I met Sam. She is like fresh air; one of a kind. I didn’t even have to ask for anything, it’s like she knew. She made sure I had what I needed and she talked to me. I was crying and she listened to me; she didn’t care that I had COVID. All she wanted to do is make me feel better. I called my son and my daughter and told them about her and as I was talking to them she came in with a big smile asking if I was okay and did I need anything. My kids thanked her for being so kind and helpful because they were so worried about me. I could not walk well to the bathroom so she came and walked with me and then got me a walker. I felt so good walking with it. She also brought me ice packs, cough drops, hot tea, and whatever else I needed to help me. I told the other nurse how kind she was to me and they agreed she is sweet. It is nurses like this that make me want to come to this hospital. She is a true blessing and I truly needed her blessing and found it in her. Thank you so much, Sam, I will never forget you.
