Samantha Julius, RN

Samantha meets excellence every day. There isn’t one story that can sum up how she leaves patients happy and smiling every day. Her positive attitude and bright smile leave patients and staff feeling warm and happy inside. We are all so happy when we see her walking in, no matter her mood she always makes it a point to greet everyone and ask how they are. Sam makes sure all her patients are greeted first thing and know she is their nurse. She makes it a point to check for all things safety. I watched Sam check every room and storage room looking for a chair for a patient's family, who Sam noticed was sleeping on the floor. When she couldn’t find one, she went to 3N and looked for one there. It doesn’t sound like a big deal but not many others would have spent that much time looking for a chair. She demonstrated many excellent principles that day.
