Sam has a wonderful bedside manner. She never missed a beat. By the time I was discharged, I and my family seemed to have developed a nurse/patient relationship far beyond the norm. Sam always had a smile, no matter how many hours she was on. She was funny when she was able and serious when it was needed. She is professional and an example of what an excellent nurse should be.

I have been an RN for 18 years in the ICU, PICU, ER and now case management so when it comes to my family, especially my precious dad, I expect the very best nursing care. Let's face it, I can be quite picky! Sam is an exceptional nurse and I knew this from the first time she walked into the room. The care she provided my dad was top notch! Her assessment skills and care are 100% thorough; she does not miss a beat! She knows how to relate to her patients and meet them where they are. My dad can be quite a character and loves to joke around. Well, Sam played right along with him and it kept my dad smiling, laughing and his spirits up. He really needed that after a very long road of being sick. Mostly, I want to thank her for her advocacy. She kept Dad's medical team informed and helped make decisions regarding his care. She also made sure that my mom and dad understood all the treatments and issues that were going on. Thank you, Sam, you truly are an amazing nurse!

Sam is absolutely an amazing nurse. She is kind, caring and compassionate. She not only understands and is knowledgeable about the science of nursing, but she practices the art of nursing. She is a great patient advocate and never fails to push what is best for her patients. Her sense of humor is very welcomed and puts her patients in a happy state. She is very thorough with all of her care and explanations of everything. She truly made her patient and our family feel cared for and confident in her care. We really appreciate everything she has done.
She is so passionate about nursing and is shows with her care and excellent bedside manner.
