May 2013 Honoree
sara johnson, RNIII
Here is what a patient from the F7 - Stem Cell Transplant unit had to say about Sara's dedication to nursing and to our patients and families:
I'd like to share a few of the kindnesses Sara did for me during my hospital stay that made me not only feel care for but valued as a person and not just a patient:
Sara shaved my head when my hair was falling out, so I would look better. She was so very attentive when I was so sick with emesis/loose stools for week after week and not once ever complaining about the issues I had with incontinence and went out and purchased my special brand of underwear with her own money when I ran out. I was truly blessed and so appreciate everything she did for me.
