Sarah demonstrates her commitment to caring for patients in all she does. She shared in a frustration, experienced by all ICU staff - time taken away from patient care searching for supplies. She saw an opportunity and began a journey that is on the leading edge for the processes around supplies in the new tower, the project of implementing a 2 bin Kanban system in the ICU. She displays her respect of all the staff by partnering with the ICU, Materials Management, Environmental Services, and Plant Operations staff to bring this pilot to fruition. Sarah's commitment to improving Mercy Health Muskegon is palpable.
