Sarah administered quality care to me from the moment we arrived on the unit. She helped to put us at ease as she walked us through all the necessary paperwork and information. As the day went on, it became evident that something wasn't right with my recovery. I was losing a lot of blood every time I went to the bathroom. It became a concern for Sarah and her team so she decided to consult the charge nurse. When things weren't improving, she pursued care from my provider's on-call doctor. He came and determined that I needed a few more stitches. This act prevented me from losing more blood and helped to aid in my recovery. I really appreciated her persistence in getting me care as soon as possible. As a VBAC patient, I didn't know what was normal, so Sarah's assistant was greatly appreciated. In addition, we were able to return home early because of her care and determination to give her best. We are so grateful for this experience of the birth of our daughter. Thank you, Sarah, for being an extraordinary nurse!
