My mom came into the ER with symptoms of a stroke. My mom was 100% not herself. She could not really tell us what happened to her. Sarah quickly noticed a bruise on my mother’s eye, then began to check the rest of her body, checking for anymore bruises. She found more. Thankfully, she found them. I had only noticed the one on her head. Sarah, doing her job quickly and immediately, let me know that my thoughts were correct and that she was not only a stroke victim but a domestic violence victim also. I am a Hamot employee and know how busy it can get, how hard it is to notice certain things, and how quickly. Things are easily missed. So I want to give a big thanks to Sarah and her co-worker L for the amazing job at their job.
