We were both anxious and worried and Sarah was kind, compassionate, and professional. She put us both at ease.
My husband came in for an angiogram. I think I need to give some background information. He was hospitalized in December for COVID. He had a bacterial infection in his toe for 3 months that wouldn’t heal till March when he had an angioplasty on his right leg. Before that, they thought they might have to amputate the toe. Fortunately, it worked but the pain in his legs continued. He has been to different doctors and had a full battery of tests which led to coming in today. We were both anxious and worried and Sarah was kind, compassionate, and professional. She put us both at ease. We talked about camping and fishing. That took our minds off of the procedure. This might not seem as important as a floor nurse every day caring for a patient but for a patient who has had health issues (open heart surgery, etc) today was like the last straw. Sarah works very hard and cared for not only the patient but for me too. She made you feel like you were her only patient and had all the time you needed. As your signage says, she cared for the mind, body, and spirit. We are very grateful for her kindness and would like to see her recognized for a job well done.
