My mom was scheduled for an angiogram during her stay. I notified Savannah, my mom’s nurse, and she offered to print up some reading material about the procedure. She then brought over the consent form, and it was neatly typed up with the professional medical terms of the procedure. She slowly read each medical term describing it in layman’s terms so I would be able to easily understand it. I told her she was so professional and thorough about making sure we understood the medical jargon. Her response was she loves what she does. It shows! She was so caring with my mom and spoke to her in Spanish every time. Savannah is truly a gem and PIH Health is so lucky to have a nurse like her.
