Savita has hired me as a travel nurse for the charge nurse position with no prior peds experience. She has supported me during my struggle transitioning from adult dialysis. She has supported me with immense knowledge, experience and mental support. Savita has been a great role model to me and showed me that despite having 10 years dialysis experience that there is way more I can learn to elevate my career and become the best at what I do. I have seen how hard she works every day and how much effort she puts into her passion. She shows immense dedication to her job and elevates the performance of her peers. She has helped me and my fellow nurses grow with so much compassion and dedication that I have never seen in my career. Exceptional care. Despite her role, Savita has been helpful in the unit with taking care of the unit with patient care and simple duties such as cleaning. She communicates with us every morning huddle and emails us information to help us grow. She makes sure we understand information in a professional manner. Compassion-wise, she makes sure the patients and families are happy by stopping by and even asking me about the patients. I can see how much she cares by her reactions when there is happy or sad news. She ensures they receive high-quality care by asking me how they are and making changes and suggestions when I provide feedback. Savita has been an excellent leader by being a great role model and supporting us in every way despite the challenges that have come. She makes everyone work better and keeps us trying our best.
