Shannon is an exceptional nurse. She always has a warm smile and ready to care for you weather it's the best day or the worst day of your life. I have worked alongside Shannon for the last 7 years, and reflecting back on each experience, I am in awe. She is strong and soft at the same time. She is a true rock when things are difficult for her patients, their families, and her co-workers. She has been with me through some of the most heartbreaking situations, and I always know I'll be okay with her in my corner. She is incredibly smart and intuitive - anticipating patients' needs and offering a listening ear when there is nothing else to give. She has zero ability to judge or treat patients anyway but the best, meeting each patient where they are in that moment. I have seen her go above and beyond for patients, which makes my heart swell and brings tears to my eyes. Moments that our patients will never forget. I feel so lucky to know her and that patients will get to be the recipients of her love and experience. If you see a beautiful woman singing, laughing, and dancing to get us to the end of a busy shift - you've probably spotted Shannon. She is the definition of a Nurse.
