That’s when the shift changed and our superhero nurse, Shannon, came into our room. He was there to comfort, teach, and give the best advice.
I was going to my normal weekly check-up appointment to talk to my doctor about my pregnancy. I was having some blood pressure problems that turned into something big. I was brought up to labor and delivery. I was told I would be staying and we were to try and induce me due to things going on. After 42 hours our little one came into this world and we were new parents. That’s when the shift changed and our superhero nurse, Shannon, came into our room. He was there to comfort, teach, and give the best advice. Shannon worked harder and never gave up explaining and supporting. Shannon was even there to help with my stress and anxiety he always knew what to say and never complained about explaining things over and over until I was not stressed about it or until I understood what was going on. I have never known someone so caring and excellent at their job. Shannon was also very good and gentle with our baby and was always comforting him when needed. Shannon will always be a part of our delivery superhero nurse! Shannon is family to us!
