I was a patient at the Corewell Health Taylor Hospital for a total knee replacement. I can’t tell you how wonderful the total experience was for me. The entire staff, from receiving to recovery, was tremendous. I was treated with respect, courtesy, warm regards, and a complete understanding of my upcoming procedure for the day. One person who stood out was Shannon Meridith, the post-op nurse. After coming out of anesthesia, her warm smile and gentle approach were perfect. I awoke to this angel who assured me everything was wonderful and I was going to be all right. Her reassurance and kindness were warm and heartfelt. I cannot express how, after the stress of a procedure this was from me, that she was there. I look forward to seeing her smile again as I have the other knee being replaced in December. Again, please pass along my heartfelt thanks to this wonderful person.
