I just wanted to recognize Sharon in the trauma med surg unit for 2 great days of care. I had my surgery, and Sharon was prompt in my room after being brought back from recovery. She made sure I was comfortable right out of the gate. She was timely with medications to make sure I never suffered from pain that could be controlled. She was supportive, especially when I asked to get up and move around my room with the walker. She always had a great attitude and was prompt with care that you should expect. It was great to see her on the second day of my stay. She once again was attentive to what I needed. Sharon understood that I was not in extreme pain and let me only take my prescribed Tylenol and not some higher-dose narcotic. Sharon set an awesome example of how a nurse should be. Attentive. Caring. And especially compassionate. If I should ever have future stays in a hospital, I would definitely hope that every nurse who cares for me has the same compassion that Sharon showed me.
