Shauna went absolutely above and beyond. There has been a patient admitted on 3 south for many months. No one had taken the time to fully wash and do the patient’s hair. While serving as supervisor, Shauna got the correct supplies and came to 3 south and washed and did the patient’s hair, even though it took much longer than expected. She showed so much care and compassion to the patient as she talked to the patient while washing her hair. We have never seen the patient smile ear to ear like that. Shauna, you not only made the patient’s day, but you made our day too. Thank you for all you do. You truly went above and beyond.
