I was very scared about starting my chemo journey, but Shayla took away all my worries. She made me feel as if I was her top priority even though she was helping other patients through the day. It was obvious that she cared not only about me and the other patients but also about the other nurses. She was always available to help and answer questions. She took the time to show that she actually cares about me, my husband, and how we feel. Even the next time I came in when she wasn't my nurse, she made sure to stop by and check on me. Shayla has a beautiful heart, and her patients and fellow nurses are blessed to have her on their side. I love to see her smiling eyes every time I go in and am always happy to hear her call my name or come over for a hug. If you haven't spent a day with Shayla, you should. Her kindness and love are things no one should miss out on.
