There is no specific situation, but for the rest of my life, I will feel indebted to this lovely woman for everything she did for me. 

Words cannot describe the type of love and care Shae has for her patients - I felt it immediately. It was as though I was being cared for by a member of my family. 

She took care of every need I could have possibly had before I was even able to ask. The time spent to listen, to teach, and most of all to care, showed no boundaries. This woman loves what she does and deserves to be recognized for it. Her smile and positive energy can lighten a room. She will leave an everlasting impact on my life. I wish there were a way to show my gratitude on my own outside of this nomination. She is a standout amongst her peers. Shae deserves the world for what she does and Northwestern Medicine is lucky to have her.
