Sherie Albright, RN

While a patient at Alaska Regional Hospital awaiting gallbladder surgery I had the pleasure of being cared for by Sherie. In addition to being a highly professional and caring nurse, she took an interest in my personal health and wellbeing. Sherie took extra time to learn my medical history so she would be prepared to assist me in any way possible. I explained that my treatment was complicated because I suffered from hemochromatosis and MOS which caused me to be extremely anemic limiting my treatment options. Sherie went home after her shift and on her own time researched those diseases and their symptoms and treatments so she could better assist in my recovery. She sat with me and discussed what she had learned. This was not only a benefit to me but to any future patients with the same ailments. Sherie truly went above and beyond and I greatly appreciate her efforts.
