Sherri was my nurse; she helped me better understand my condition and explained things so it was easier to see why the Doctor was doing what was needed. One time after testing was done in my room, the phone rang and it wasn’t working properly. She rushed in, got it fixed, and turned up, so I didn’t miss a call from my grandson; it was important to me and she heard me say that before. This was above and beyond care for me. With that said I can not say enough how great the care was during my stay. I was so scared coming into the ER and being admitted, but it was one of the best decisions, and her care for me made my stay great! I would hug you if we could.

Sherri is always going above and beyond to care for her patients. As soon as I see her in the morning, I know that I will know exactly what is happening with her patients as the day goes on. She is always keeping me informed of changes and working through solutions. Sherri has been known to do the little extras for her patients on several occasions. She even brought in hearing aid batteries for her patient when his hearing aids stopped working, just doing those little things to improve the patient experience. She is a fantastic nurse and dedicated, compassionate employer of IU Health White Memorial Hospital. So glad to have the opportunity to work with her. Don’t ever stop being you!
