My dad was in the Cardiac ICU and Sherry was his nurse for a few days. Sherry is so great at what she does. She explained everything she was doing, what medications she was giving and why/what they do. She made my dad and mom feel comfortable and included and always answered any questions they had. She encouraged him to do his exercises in bed, educating my dad and his family on the importance of moving as much as he could because patients get weak while being in the hospital. I myself am a nurse and having Sherry as my dad’s nurse made me feel comforted and at ease knowing that he would get the best care. Being so far away from my dad those first few days was hard but with Sherry as his nurse, I knew he was in good hands. Sherry is the kind of nurse I strive to be and deserves to be recognized for the great care she provides! These are just a few examples of Sherry’s great care. I could go on and on but just want to thank her for all she has done for my family and me.
