Taking chemo is very hard physically, mentally, and emotionally, knowing that I am away from my family, but having her and her team as my support system helps me know that I can overcome it.
I am a cancer patient with leukemia, taking my chemotherapy twice a week. I have met many good nurses since I was admitted to Dr. Soliman Fakeeh Hospital, but this nurse is different. She is very kind and loving to her patients and also to her co-nurses. I remember the first time I was admitted to the Chemotherapy Day Care Unit. I was not really feeling well, and my veins were not coming out. Every time a nurse inserted a cannula, it was not successful. But thanks to her, who is very professional in inserting cannula, not just to me but to all her patients. I can see it because most of the patients are asking for her. Seeing her teaching and leading her team has a big impact on the success of their unit. She is very professional and very kind to everyone.  Every time I am admitted and she sees me, she always gives me a beautiful smile and approaches, "Hello, have you had your breakfast?"

She makes sure everything is in place, and that makes my day. I will never worry that something will happen to me because I know I am with the good nurses in this hospital.

Taking chemo is very hard physically, mentally, and emotionally, knowing that I am away from my family, but having her and her team as my support system helps me know that I can overcome it. I always have a hard time getting approval on my oral chemo medicine, but Shiela is always there to help me. Her compassion on her work is really genuine that is why her colleagues and patients love her. When I told her that I would be going for an exit, she made a way to get approval for my oral medicines. She will not just think about her duties as a nurse, but she will always consider the well-being of other people around her. She has good leadership skills in her team.

I will be going home, and I will never forget all the experience I had.

Thank you, Dr. Soliman Fakeeh Hospital. Thank you to my doctor and all the nurses who took care of me. Thank you, Shiela. You are an amazing person. Stay cheerful to your patients and keep a positive attitude. GOD BLESS YOU all!
