Sionnie LeBlanc demonstrates caring and compassion through her interactions with her patients as well as her co-workers. Each day Sionnie is charge nurse she makes sure she reaches each and everyone of us to assure us that it will be "alright" we will "get through this day". She thanks us all for a job well done at the end of the day. She encourages us to push forward when it gets tough. Sionnie is our "go to" person. She is a master at getting IV's on the most difficult sticks and knows the answer to our most difficult questions. She is that much needed "pat on the back" on the roughest days assuring us we are doing well.

Sionnie's interactions with patients is commendable, she shows compassion and caring and always smiles even with the most complex patients. Her attention to detail is impecable as she is spot on with her care and has an abundance of knowledge and expertise to offer. Sionnie is a member of the sepsis team and has been a great resourse to the ER in enhancing understanding of and compliance with the sepsis protocol, allowing for our department to improve our patient care and reach our goals. Her committment to the department and patients is evident in her willingness to help out in times of need. I look forward to seeing her each time I come on shift.

Sionnie is an asset to the ER team and the patients who pass through our department. There are many more great things I can say about Sionnie as she is an excellent nurse and role model who exemplifies what nursing is all about.
