Skyler is an amazing healthcare professional and adds a great deal of knowledge and experience to Madera Community Hospital's staff. She treats patients as they were her own family and friends. Her caring character and kind demeanor give patients and their families' a calming reassurance of security and protection during what can be a very stressful time.
She is approachable and takes the time to explain medical terminology in ways people outside the health care field understand. She is a team player and is always willing to help other nurses or nursing assistants when needed. She has worked hard to develop and maintain good, working relationships with the doctors at MCH. I know she is respected by her colleagues and I can say from experience she is also valued and appreciated by the patients and families at Madera Community.
If there's one thing that sets her apart from others, it's her readiness to advocate for patients when they aren't able to advocate for themselves that truly exemplifies why she is so special and a true DAISY Nurse.
