Sophia Chen, RN

First and foremost, I believe Sophia saved my life when I was admitted to the ICU. I thought I was going to bleed to death. Sophia’s excellent care and communication were comforting and reassuring. As a former critical care nurse it was difficult to relax and just be a patient. Sometimes, you know too much, and it scares you. Knowing that Sophia has been a registered nurse for 42 years at the bedside was heartwarming. Knowing she holds her certification as a CCRN gave me confidence in her knowledge, skills, and expertise! Sophia found the balance to communicating with me in professional medical terms but soothing and comforting me as a patient. I am indebted to her for saving me, both physically and emotionally. I am proud to call her my sister nurse, and now a friend in my heart forever!
