I must admit, all of the nurses on 7West are awesome. But Stacey stood out. She always would make sure I was comfortable and didn't need anything. Made me smile, made me laugh, made me realize the best way was to take it "one step" at a time. She helped me realize amputation is not the worst and I had the strength to do it. So many things, I cannot list them all. But I will forever remember her kindness, caring ways, and keep her in my prayers.
