Stacy Arriola, DNP, BS-CH, RN, CNE
Stacy Arriola has been a clinical instructor in the Department of Population Health Nursing Science since 2022 and has taught in the department since 2019. She completed her DNP in December 2021 and was the Director of Nursing Professional Development/Primary Nurse Planner in the College of Nursing from 2019-2022. Dr. Arriola was also awarded Nurse Educator of the Year in 2022 by the Philippine Nurses Association of America North Central Region.
Dr. Arriola has made significant updates and improvements to the teaching curriculum to support students and improve their engagement. She developed positive relationships with her students and implemented projects to assist students in incorporating concepts of leadership into their roles as future nurses. Additionally, Dr. Arriola is vigilant about identifying new student opportunities for clinical sites, teaching sites, and clinical experiences for students.
