Stacy was nominated for her compassionate care for a newborn.

One particular day when O was not even her patient, Stacy came running when he started to desat and his heart rate dropped. She was attentive, focused, and extremely positive. She made us feel like O was the most important baby in the world. When that particular situation occurred, she simply said, “my boyfriend just wanted me to come love on him”. Comments like that make having O in the NICU a little more bearable. She always has been very knowledgeable about him and very informative. If we had questions or concerns she has always listened and given us an answer. All in all, Stacy is just an amazing nurse. We take great comfort in knowing that people like her are able to care for our baby when we cannot. We will be forever grateful to Stacy, all the nurses, doctors, and friends in the NICU. There are simply not enough words to express our gratitude and love.
