Stacy was the strength that held us together at the end.
My family had received the terrible news of a brain bleed for our mom. My brothers came out from California and Washington, and my son came from Kansas City. We had several family members there to give my mom all the love and comfort we could, and to help her pass away peacefully.
My entire family has expressed an interest in somehow thanking Stacy for all that she has done to make this process easier. She was there to answer our questions, offer comfort, and assisted us in our grieving process which began even before she died, and after. Stacy was the strength that held us together at the end. She made herself available to us immediately as the need arrived, and she is held in high regard by my entire family.
Stacy went above and beyond the scope of her job, by being there for us emotionally and offering comfort in so many ways. She asked if we needed pillows, blankets, or something to eat or drink. She is an amazing asset to your team, and she deserves an award for her job performance. She was just a nurse those days, she was a friend as well.
Thank you, Stacy, you are not forgotten and will always hold a special place in our hearts.
