Stephanie continues to go above and beyond to make patients safe, comfortable, and to make them smile. She went out of her way to make a mother and a patient feel safe with a new transfer to new bath equipment. Both the patient and the mother were very anxious. Stephanie grabbed a new bath chair and educated as many staff as she could. The patient and mother felt at ease and happy to be able to shower in her own bathroom.
Stephanie has been known to stay late to spend time with a patient to make them feel comfortable, read a book to a sad child, or be there for her co-workers. She constantly has a smile on her face and is a nurse support to all who need her.

Stephanie always goes the extra mile to make sure patients are comfortable. Whenever I have a patient I need help with, I always know I can call Stephanie and she will find the time in a very busy day to help me problem solve a situation. She takes time to explain procedures to patients and their parents in a way they can understand.
Our patients have often received bad news that will forever change their life and family. Stephanie is kind and compassionate and very honest, building trust and security in our patients.
