Steve is the epitome of what a nurse should be. Being a team player he helps out in any area needed and always comes to work with a positive attitude. He absolutely loves being a nurse. He treats everyone with respect and courtesy. He tends to put people at ease immediately with calm confident demeanor. He is a true professional and has the patience of a saint. He takes the time to explain everything to the patients and families and makes sure they are comfortable and have everything they need.

Steve contributes to his unit by being a member of UPC for several years, active member on EBCPC and has helped with various unit studies. He stays up to date on information; he loves to teach others, and is also a BLS instructor.

Steve is always going above and beyond. One day when a woman came in to the front of the hospital and needed help getting her husband out of the car, Steve didn't hesitate to help. When he got to the car he realized the man was having a heart attack so he immediately started administering CPR. He saved this man's life by his swift actions.
