Stoney Minshew is a remarkable nurse that consistently demonstrates excellence, expertise, and extraordinary compassionate care to me, my family and friends. She comes into my room before I can call, anticipates my needs, and cheerfully attends to anything I need proactively. Everyone who met her saw it and helped me write this.
When I read about this award I thought of Stoney immediately. Then, when I read that J. Patrick Barnes was the reason for The DAISY Award, I was astounded because IPT is the reason I'm here! Stoney truly earns this award because she goes above and beyond every day. I don't know how she has the strength and drive and love of her job. For her, it's a part of her life to be kind, loving and compassionate.

Stoney is nice, helpful, understanding, caring and outgoing. I went through some things during my stay. She has stood by my side through it all. I am very pleased that she was there to take care of me during my illness. She also is a great listener. She helped me get through a very tough time. I listened to her and I felt better. Thank you.

While I stayed in the hospital, she was very patient with me and helpful. She always was smiling and took care of me right away.
