The IMC has had staffing issues and Sunny has committed himself to our unit to help with staffing which translates to safe, effective and quality patient care. Sunny truly brightens everyone's day from RN's, CA's, housekeepers, physicians, parents to most importantly the pediatric patients. He gives these vulnerable children laughter and love in a very trying time. It's these smiles that lessen the pain experienced by families of loved ones and helps cut the tension of stressful situations. Sunny's motivating and encouraging attitude is infectious as he makes work fun and a hospital stay more bearable.

For example, Sunny will introduce himself in the morning to each patient and their families, bring moms & dads coffee. He always comes to work equipped with his own personal stash of candy for co-workers, and as denoted by his embroidered Superman patch sewn to his scrubs, "Super Sunny" has that important element ideal for pediatric patients. His IV skills are exceptional and on multiple occasions he has dropped what he is doing to start an IV on difficult IV stick patients and "Super Sunny" never misses! He is a great asset to Seton!
