I had a revision done on my left knee after I had a fall at home. After the surgery, I experienced a lot of pain, especially in my left hip as well as my back. I was on oxycodone for the pain and believe me there was a lot of pain. Sue always made sure I was given my medication on time, as I needed it every 4-6 hours during my hospital stay. Sue not only made me more comfortable by providing a heating pad unit for my back pain and ice packs for my hip and knee, but she also provided kind words of encouragement; she made me feel like I was special.
Sue also made sure the incoming change of shift nurses knew of my very sensitive and difficult concerns. Sue is a very caring and skilled nurse. I want to personally thank her for all her dedication and compassion she showed me while I was a patient there.
