Sylvia is very good at helping people. She reminded me why I want to become a nurse.
Sylvia was so good with her patient care. So knowledgeable and so kind. I was in for a bilateral mastectomy and ended up having my lymph nodes removed on the left side. When seeing my difficulty getting in and out of bed, she used my time in the bathroom to have my bedding changed and showed me a better way to get into bed that was more effective and less painful. She was on top of my pain levels and helping me make sure to have more control. She was very encouraging and very helpful. While being kind and understanding was a great trait, she also came across as kind when discussing things I may not want to hear like when I need to drink water without a straw and stopping Pepsi so my body could release the extra air.
Sylvia is very good at helping people. She reminded me why I want to become a nurse. She also discussed some of her views and wanted to help people and keep them feeling good. That for sure is a natural calling. I would be very blessed to become at least half the nurse that she is. And I would be very blessed to have her as my nurse if I am ever here again. It seemed like a lot of staff looked to her for help and to touch base. I am so thankful she was my nurse. Thank you, Sylvia!
